From morning to evening, almost every street, citizens are exposed to high acoustic pollution. It is almost impossible to find a quiet place to escape the trumpets of car noise or noise coming from construction sites that have sprouted up everywhere in the capital. Air quality in dense urban areas of Tirana is significantly influenced by emissions from the transport sector both private and public. Polluters such as CO2 - PM10 - NOx - HC - CO souring from exhaust system are responsible for an annual total load of 20’263 tons or equal to 41 kg/person. In order for this pollution to be naturally absorbed, there would be needed at least 203’881 Plane Trees with an average age of 70-80 years. Noise in schools, alarm sounds for Tirana, Shkodra, Elbasan and Durres

Continuous monitoring of acoustic pollution in educational institutions has been carried out. In Tirana, the results came after measurements made in 52 educational institutions, 9-year schools, high schools, and universities. Meanwhile, measurements were made in the schools of Shkodra, Elbasan, and Durres. Measurement periods have been carried out at different times, starting in 2018 as well as in 2019.
