The pandemic reduced noise in the streets of Tirana.

The global pandemic offered to the Albanian capital the peace it had lacked for many years. Acoustic pollution measurements at the noisiest crossroads in Tirana marked a decrease of 10 dB, compared to a year ago.

"During the day the allowed level of noise pollution is 55 dB. The average at the main crossroads of the city ranges from 55 to 60 dB. During the night we continue to be within the allowed range below 40dB or below 35db "
